Our Siberian Husky, Troy, started itching to where he was making himself bleed. We took him to his vet and that’s when we found out he had some kind of allergy. He was put on a steroid , however after a few days we realized this was not good. We weaned him off not knowing what else to do. A couple days later I went to Four Paws to get his food. Troy loves chicken…so he was on a grain-free food with chicken as the main ingredient….we would also boil chicken breast for his treats. That’s when a lady who worked there starting telling me that chicken is a common allergy for dogs. We switched Troy to Lotus Grain-free Duck. Troy loves it as much as he loves his chicken. After a couple weeks, we noticed Troy’s skin improving and today he has a beautiful coat and no more pink, itchy skin. My family thanks Four Paws for their knowledge and for helping Troy become his healthy, happy self!
