I have a 12 year old border collie mix. She is very sweet and smart. 2 years ago she became very ill using regular veterinary care for her allergies and foot licking and had wounds on her feet and was limping around, not very energetic. Her veterinarian put her on two meds that put several of her organs into stress and her thyroid stopped working.
I went to the Brookside Barkery in the Brookside area and they started educating me about holistic care at Mariposa with Dr. Dodson and how to feed a more healthy diet with no grains. I started with Dr. Dodson and started buying grain free food. I met an employee of the Four Paws Pantry when she worked at another pet supply store and she educated me further and suggested I cut out chicken, which can cause allergic reactions. This tip was just what we needed to kick the allergy problem.
When this store closed and I discovered Four Paws Pantry, I was so happy to see this employee at your store. On my first visit she helped me pick out food and treats that would help her allergy condition. Other employees since then have helped me pick out other products and I recently purchased a Thunder Shirt that was fitted on her at the store. Now she waits for me and barks for me to put it on her when the thunder starts. I have learned so much and feel so welcome at your store and look forward to coming each time.
My 12 year old pup, who I was ready to put down because she was in so much pain with her feet sores, now walks with me 1 hour a day and has the energy of a pup with little allergy problems now that her diet has been fixed and I have the right treats from Four Paws Pantry and allergy care from my holistic vet. I am so grateful for the extra years with my sweet puppy. Thanks for all your help and patience in educating me and being kind to my geriatric puppy.
