We have a super great Bernese Mountain dog, Joey, who is epileptic and needs his medicines several times a day. The problem was he would not take his pills! I tried the usual: cheese, pill pockets, peanut butter, etc. – nothing worked.
On my first visit to Four Paws, I was telling a very kind sales associate my problem. She told me her dog was epileptic also and made some very intelligent suggestions and to change his diet. What a life saver! Joey now cannot wait to eat and happily takes his meds hidden in his new food. Hush, don’t tell Joey!
