I thought my dog was a “flea magnet” – every year spring and summer were a nightmare! After suffering through the flea seasons of the past few years and trying all the products available (i.e. collars, topical, internal products) I finally decided to have my dog, Maple, tested for allergies. Turned out it wasn’t fleas causing her discomfort, rather allergies to grasses, chicken, beef and grains. In fact it was easier to list what she wasn’t allergic to.
Four Paws has a large selection of dry food and treats that are on the list of acceptable food for my girl! Chewing, scratching and general discomfort has disappeared and quiet, peace now reigns in our home.
