When our Carin Terrier, Mels, began having severe itching problems on the sides of her body, we knew we needed to seek out help. We first began by taking her to the veterinarian, where he assumed our dog had allergies to something outdoors. So, he gave us some medication for her to take to keep the inflammation and the itching to a minimum. Unfortunately, as soon as the medication was finished, our dog, yet again, continued itching. My uncle, who is also an owner of a Carin Terrier, recommended substituting her dry food for raw food. Just to give you a little background of our dog, she would never eat her dry food right away when placed in her food bowl. She would only eat when she was starving and when she figured no one was going to give her anything else to eat.
The day I found Four Paws Pantry & Spa was the day our dog became a totally different dog. She now whines and begs to the sound of me chopping up her raw food. I have even timed her eating her food, and my dog will finish her meal within 12 seconds of putting her food bowl on the ground. She loves it!
